Walking through the Night Market in Philadelphia, I saw these guys and had to order the nachos.

Dos Gringos

Heavy on the dairy toppings here. The Nachojawn family has had Vagabond’s nachos before.

Vagabond’s is still one of our favored casual shore dining spots with a nice sunset view that makes nacho photography easy.

Only about 10 months late on this one, but I caught my first foul ball and then celebrated our national pastime with some patriotic nachos.

Delicious spicy strips. Would eat again on a layover.

A few more shots from around town. Zihua was quiet in the off season but there were still some pretty good eats to be had.

Frozen mezcalita. Smoky and delicious. Una chelada for Mrs. Nachojawn.

This place was awesome. Time for some more breakfast margaritas.

The ceviche in Zihua is called tiritas de pescado and it’s delicious. Fish, lime, onion and serrano peppers.

With this view, it’s hard to move, but we did do some good eating in town.

Breakfasts were great – fresh juices coming in at around a buck.

It was a little toasty, but Mrs. Nachojawn had a light breakfast

I had the breakfast tacos along with a couple of breakfast margaritas.

After one breakfast it was time to carb up at the pasteleria.

Horrible.

These were the “ground beef” nachos. Chips with a cut up hamburger on top. Tons of lettuce. I couldn’t find any cheese. My tacos had pools of oil on them. One of my least favorite meals ever. Garbage.

.48/5 pickled  jalapeños. (Easily a new record low score) Do not eat these, there have to be better options.
